So impressed with all of this! The new issue will be
wonderful, of course. I had nearly forgotten about the connection with Gita. Can’t wait to see her work here.
It’s all thrilling.

The art work is stirring. The variation in the writing is compelling. Mahalo for introducing so many new writers, from all over the world to me. Itʻs like having them all to dinner with a click of a button. But Iʻm sorry entry to the reading hour requires a Mac Leopard. That means the poor eat outside, at the door? Is there any way one may listen from an open window if locked on the inside, with dinner spread out, but needing to look out? And to think not even the American public libraries are up to the speed of the growling, hungry Mac Tiger — the world over. Which means, perhaps, PRINT IS DEMOCRATIC? Or the G-20 has got into the dishes. Makes me sad. . . .Nevertheless, the celebratory reading was fresh! And Mahalo piha, Pat, and your world striding editors, Perle and Tia, for keeping the Fire on the Hearth stoked with logs at (that sense of place called) home.

Aloha Lei,
Many thanks for your comments. Leopard is not required for anything at the site.
